My floating books

Recent guests were intrigued by my floating books on my sitting room wall. Here are the step by step instructions to creating your own stack of floating books.
First I decided where I wanted them to go and marked where to place my brackets. I used 4"brackets and placed them about 4" apart. Be sure to use your level so the books rest evenly.
Hold the book jacket up to the brackets and make two slits for the brackets to slide through
Place the book on the brackets and wrap the jacket around it.
The bottom of the brackets are now hidden in the book jacket. Stack other books and all of the brackets are hidden--giving the books the illusion of floating on your wall.
